Can anyone recommend a good two-part epoxy or putty for sculpting?

I do a lot of customization work on little figures called Minimates, and sometimes I need to sculpt additional parts for the figures. I’m wondering if someone could recommend a good two-part epoxy or putty to use that is readily available. I’ve used Milliputt in the past, but it is hard to come by. Would something like Mighty Putty work?

I am looking for a work out that targets my core, arms, and inner thighs.
I’d like it to be something fun so I don’t get tired of it.
I all ready run two miles a day and eat healthy because I am a vegetarian.

I’d like to try sculpting a higback lounge chair with arm supports from a single piece of wood, but I have zero experience with this. Any tips, suggestions, useful links?
I would like to use maple, but not sure if it has the right characteristics. Want to avoid cracking, and any other ill effects over time.

Let me tell you my idea first… a room that is completely hand sculpted… the couches and chairs come out of the wall, the wall itself is cavernous and filled with shelves, lighting and outlets… a bar area or serving area that organically comes out of the floor… I’ve seen things similar at theme parks, just wanting to become more familiar with the materials used… some kind of plastic I’m assuming but it would be molded or carved by hand or tool on site, strong enough to be used daily. Waterproof, something you could run electrical cable or conduit through, and water pipes… thanks.
