Tamora asked:
We have 10 lbs of fresh Maine coast clay and I forget from my many art classes how to clean the grit before we use it. It involves soaking it in water. I’m just not sure what for and how does this remove the rocks/sand?

An 800 mesh but ive done 300 and play around with the first one mostly dry the mesh too much seems like sandpaper for throwing suppose you should probably take it through sieve depending on what kind of clay etc id do little research on what kind of clay you could make the different things.
