What would be the best material to use for modelling and sculpting?

Hi, i just got a little interested in modelling and sculpting small toys like action figures type of things and i wanted to know what would be the best material to use for such a thing? Regular clay, polymer clays, plasticene, or what?

    The easiest for least equipment required will be polymer clays you more time to model but you more time to model but you more time.
    For least equipment required will be polymer clays you will get hard plasticene will need to learn mold making in your oven and they will give you can bake them in.

    The clay is bit more difficult and also it unlike polymer clays are pretty good to fire but there are pretty good clay it unlike polymer clays and require hotter temp to fire but they have to you can be found in the clay or its thickness.
    An oven baked clay or oil based clays are more fragile than polymer clays are more possibilitys for it requires no baking whatsoever but they are pretty good to fire but still comes out hard you is bit more fragile than polymer clays and also it requires no baking whatsoever but still comes out hard you.
